Join us at the Ranelagh Harriers Richmond Half Marathon. The scenic course is a flat, fast, figure of eight on the roads and towpaths of Richmond, Twickenham and Kingston. The race incorporates the Surrey County Athletics Association Championship and forms part of the Surrey Road League.
Refreshments are available at the start & finish, so bring the family!
Race day information
When: Sunday 5 May 2019 at 8.30am
Where: Race HQ: Fox and Duck, 194 Petersham Road, Petersham, Richmond TW10 7AD
Start: The start is at the traffic lights at the junction of Petersham Road and Star and Garter Hill approximately 400m from the Race HQ. Runners should assemble at the Race HQ where you will receive final instructions before the start. Race officials will walk runners onto the road and up to the start line shortly before the start.
Finish: The finish is in Riverside Drive TW10 7QA
Bag drop: Bags can be left with us at the baggage collection point behind the Fox and Duck and will be taken to the finish for you. Please use the tear off baggage strip on your race number to label your bag. Please do not bring large, bulky or heavy bags or valuable items. Items are left at your own risk.
Water stations: There will be four water stations on the route at miles 2, 5, 7 and 10 (approximately) and at the finish. Water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.
Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.
Headphones: The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, is not permitted for your safety.
Cut-off time: Please note that this race has a cut-off time of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Please leave enough time to find parking. Parking is not available at or near the start, at the Fox & Duck, at the Ranelagh Harriers clubhouse, in Cedar Heights or on Petersham Road. There is plenty of free parking around Ham Common and the surrounding roads a short walk from the start and finish. Please be considerate of local residents when parking.
Toilets: Toilets are available at the Race HQ and just inside the gate to Richmond Park at the start, and at the finish.
Refreshments: Teas, coffees and snacks will be available at the start and finish.
